She found it on the floor of the hiding place after Anne's arrest, and following the war she gave it to Otto Frank, who was the only member of the family to survive Auschwitz. Anne Frank called the people who helped her while she was hiding from the Nazis, 'the helpers'. Of the four helpers, Miep Gies is the only one still living. She met Anne Frank in 1933, when Anne's father Otto Frank hired her as a secretary for his Opekta business. Through the years she watched Anne grow up. After Germany occupied the Netherlands, Otto Frank was forced by the anti-Semitic decrees, to turn over his Opekta business to his employees. When the deportation of the Jews began in 1942, he and his family, along with four other Jews, went into hiding in the back part of the building, which housed his company. His employees helped him to do this. Now, more than 50 years after Anne Frank's arrest, Miep Gies once again walks through the building where she used to work. She sees the bookcase that hid the entrance to the Secret Annexe. Wandering through the hiding place, that was re-furnished for this occasion, her memories of Anne Frank come to life. The way in which Anne always kept on asking about what was happening outside. About the tension inside the hiding place. The Floorwalker: Charlie enters a department store and proceeds to annoy the employees with his antics. At this very moment, the store manager and his floorwalker are in the process of robbing the store's safe. The floorwalker double crosses the manager and flees with the money, only to run into Charlie on his way out. He and Charlie are look-alikes. The police catch the floorwalker and Charlie is left with the money. By this time the store manager is back in the picture and he chases Charlie around the store in a mad dash to retrieve the money.

Before the kick-off, another piece of FA Cup history was created, as Steve Morrow became the first player ever to be presented with a winner's medal before a ball had been kicked, receiving his League Cup winner's medal some four weeks after scoring the winning goal in the final. When the match did get underway the contest remained a tight affair. Ian Wright headed Arsenal into a first half lead, but Wednesday's resilience paid dividends as David Hurst equalised mid-way through the second half and 1-1 it remained with both teams returning to Wembley for the 4th time in the season to commence battle once again. With the replay following a similar pattern to the first game, Wright once again put Arsenal ahead in the first half and Chris Waddle levelled for Wednesday with the aid of a deflection in the second. With extra time needed, it seemed that The FA Cup Final would be decided by penalties for the very first time. But with seconds remaining, Andy Linighan became the hero of the hour, rising to meet Merson's corner and powering a header past a helpless Woods in the Wednesday goal. The FA Cup was on its way back to Highbury for the first time in 14 years and the double was complete.
