The films are introduced by Manx journalist and broadcaster Terry Cringle (himself born and raised in a Douglas boarding house in the 1930's). Join Terry as we revisit the days of bathing beauty competitions, ice-cream and donkeys on the beach, and blissful afternoons in the countryside walking hand in hand in a Manx glen. Days when not only was the weather always better but people seemed content with the simplest pleasures.
